Long time friend and UCP advocate Lee Schneider passed away on Sunday, January 20th, due to complications from colon surgery.
Lee was a longstanding volunteer at UCP of San Diego County, serving as Board President, Foundation President, and Women's Committee Chair, but also served UCP on the National level for many years, including her membership on the Awards Committee. She is admired by many and will be missed by all.
Her ashes will be laid to rest in Cairo, Georgia on Saturday, January 31st in the Cairo Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Lee's family has requested that donations be made to the Interfaith Shelter Network and/or the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation.
